Who You Are Determines How Well What You Do Works

How is it that two people can do the exact same thing and get drastically different results?

Who you are determines how well what you do works. It’s not the things you do but how you do them. You’ve probably heard the phrase, “practice doesn’t make perfect. Perfect practice makes perfect.”

The secret formula to success becomes:

Most people are fairly aware of the things they want in life and are at least familiar with the things they would have to do in order to get those things. But, they pay no attention to the person they have to become in order the do the things they have to, to get the things they want. Wayne Dyer used to say “we are more accurately human BE-comings than humans BE-ings.”

Health and weight loss is no different. As an example, people who want to lose weight know that they have to eat right and exercise to do so. But if you believe you don’t have the time, money or energy to exercise. And healthy food costs too much and doesn’t taste good, how are you ever going to follow through on the things you need to do in order to have the health you want?

Your 21 day journal will help you work on the “BE” part of the equation. Keeping a gratitude journal helps you nurture a positive outlook on life, keeping you optimistic about achieving your goals. Affirmations will help program your mind with the feelings, thoughts and emotions you need to stay on track. And filling your “will power reservoir” will give you the mental strength to do what is necessary.

Take Away:

Keep your journal with you, not only for tracking your food, but also for changing who you are so you’re able to achieve things you never have.
